Erin Angelillo RD, LDN (she/her)
Hi, I’m Erin! I’m a Registered and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist who helps people overcome their struggles with disordered eating, body image, eating intuitively, and managing complex chronic conditions.
I believe in listening to your unique story and working alongside you to help you meet your goals. No matter what challenges you're facing, I’m here to offer a compassionate space where you’ll be heard and supported every step of the way.
Take a look below to learn more about my approach, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. I’d love to connect and help you on your journey!
I have a compassionate non judgmental approach grounded in Intuitive Eating, Health At Every Size (HAES)®, Motivational Interviewing, and Internal Family Systems. My counseling style is respectful, empathetic, and honest. I integrate evidence-based nutrition science with therapeutic techniques to support clients.
I am a gender-affirming, trauma-informed, weight-neutral, and neurodivergent-informed provider. I understand many clients may have experienced trauma, including medical trauma, and strive to provide a safer space by providing trauma informed care.
Disordered Eating & Body Image: My approach is personalized to each client, but often incorporates meal planning, body image work, exposures, and processing. When it’s helpful, I offer family and couples sessions to deepen the healing process. For clients looking for extra accountability, I use the Recovery Record app. I maintain regular contact with each client’s treatment team to make sure we're providing the best possible care. I often help clients build a strong support system, including therapists, dietitians, doctors, and more.
Dysautonomia, POTS, & MCAS: I work with clients on nutrition and lifestyle strategies that support long-term well-being in a sustainable way. My approach is personalized to each client, but often incorporates various evidence based interventions, client education, identifying triggers, creating sustainable treatment plans, and improving the relationship clients have with food and their body. My experience treating eating disorders allows me to provide specialized interventions to clients struggling with their relationship with food and their bodies, an often overlooked component when healing from MCAS. I understand the process of receiving a "proper" diagnosis is complex and welcome self diagnosed folks to my practice. I also guide clients in building a team of specialists tailored to their specific needs. My goal is to empower clients to feel confident in their own expertise when it comes to their health, putting them in the driver’s seat alongside their care team.
Nutrition Counseling: I work with clients dealing with a variety of medical conditions including diabetes (DM), cardiovascular disease (CVD), geographic atrophy (GA)/macular degeneration (AMD), Hashimoto's thyroiditis, and autoimmune conditions. My focus is on supporting each individual’s unique journey toward their well-being goals.
